Chedar was born from the founder’s encounter with aquamarine, inspired by the beauty and power of jewelry. The brand launched officially in 2017 after showcasing at the Cannes Film Festival and released its first collection in 2020.

At Chedar, we focus on creating talisman jewelry centered around aquamarine and other gemstones, designed to bring joy to everyday moments. Whether through colorful stones or pearls, we aim to craft pieces you'll love to wear and cherish throughout your life.

Designer Profile

Asako Sawai

Through her experience studying in France, Asako refined her artistic sensibilities while expanding a global network. She has been involved in the OEM business for costume jewelry production.

In 2018, she became the designer of Chedar.

She is also the owner of the curated boutique À Quatre.

Gemologist Profile

Noriko Tsuchiya

As a certified gemologist, Noriko has experience as a lecturer at specialized schools and has conducted gemstone appraisals at department stores.

She actively shares her broad knowledge of gemstones, combining both scientific and energetic perspectives, to make gemology accessible and enjoyable for everyone.
